Here at Telarus we specialize in creating tools that agents, customers, and vendors can use to do more business together. You might say Telarus is more of a software company than a traditional telecommunications master agency, as ALL of our applications are written in-house. We've been blessed with a wonderful team of web programmers and database developers that have helped us evolve into the industry-leading force for growth. Our extensive IT development stems from our intense focus on serving the needs of agents. All of our code revolves around the needs of agents, VARs, lead generators, strategic partners that private-label our software, and our highly motivate sales support staff.

Things that Differentiate Telarus from "the Other Guys"

• GeoQuote - In 2003 we authored (and patented) the world's first real-time commercial telecom pricing software. We provide every agent who works with us with a private-labelled web site that has GeoQuote software pre-installed. In addition, agents can run additional quotes in their own back office. The results of GeoQuote can then be converted into Official Proposals by the agent and sent to the customer in just seconds.



• Lead Generation - Even the best telecom agent has trouble meeting fresh prospects without new leads. Telarus generates leads for its agents using trade secret strategies in search engine optimization. Likewise, Telarus has direct and indirect agents who specialize in online and offline lead generation. Combined these agents submit hundreds of leads for both telecom service and equipment each and every day.



• VAR Network - Value Added Resellers have found a new home in our VAR Network program in which they receive telecom equipment and repair leads. Our network currently consists of over 2,000 VARs nationwide, representing PBX phone system vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Mitel, 3Com, NEC, ShoreTel, and more. As these VARs send Telarus more telecom service orders, the VAR Network allocates a heavier allotment of equipment leads in return.



• Back Office Software - We're not talking about a simple version of SalesForce.com, MasterStream, or some other "off the shelf" package that anyone can buy. Our back office software is written with agents in mind - putting all of your customer information, previous quotes, proposals, tasks, notes, commission history, email correspondences, orders, paperwork, etc. at your fingertips on one page. Agents can also create additional logins for administrative assistance and/or employees so that they can access specific areas of the agent back office in a customer support role.

Our Unique Business Model

When Patrick Oborn and Adam Edwards formulated the Telarus business model in 2002, no one took them seriously. A real-time quote based system in which the sales process is divided into lead generation and sales/consulting steps seamed as foreign to the telecom industry as a visitor from Mars. However, after much hard work, negotiations, contracts, programming, software development, search engine optimization, training of new agents, and sacrifice - an new model was born:
