Former DataBank Director of Channel Sales for the West Will Help Telarus Partners Win More Deals

In this engineer role, Michael will focus on helping sales partners present and close deals, all under the partner’s brand. Michael comes to Telarus with over 10 years of experience in the industry.

Michael is technically knowledgeable and a driven solution sales professional who has specialized in infrastructure as a service, pre/post sales customers support, hosting/Cloud evangelist, training, and has been a trusted adviser. Throughout his career, he has held positions at DataBank, InterVision Systems, Unitas Global, and Internap.
His career started supporting hardware peripherals for the Silicon Graphics workstation market, which led to relationships with companies like Pixar, Nintendo, and Disney Imagineering. As technology evolved, he turned to working in the world of infrastructure as a service, having worked with a rich history of technologies that include Cloud services, networking, security, and colocation.
“As a member of the sales engineering team, my goal is to help with projects and problems our partners and their customers are trying to solve for and translate into relevant and quality solutions supported by our technology providers,” said Kowalski. “Early in my career, I learned that putting in the extra effort to better understand what my customer is trying to accomplish and then educate them so they can make a well-informed buying decision, rather than selling them, has led to longer and mutually beneficial relationships.
